The WWII Luftwaffe dagger was introduced in 1937. Various officer ranks wore the dagger. The blade is of the stiletto type; the main features are a double edge and a flat plain in its center. All of the metal fittings of the dagger were manufactured from cast aluminum. The scabbard has smooth sides with an oak leaf design near its tip end and a pebbled finish throughout most of its body. The pommel is rounded and features a Swastika. Rare find.
