We have researched the neighborhoods of Annapolis and the Internet and we can’t find a more nautical Christmas Tree anywhere. In Annapolis, the Sailing Capital of America and the home of the U.S. Naval Academy, on a sidewalk in front of a little store called Annapolis Maritime Antiques, located in the fun and friendly neighborhood of Eastport, sits the most nautical Christmas Tree in the world.
This 6 foot tree is made from WWII Liberty Ship rigging blocks and old ship line, and is adorned with pretty glass ball ornaments, lobster buoys, a brass yacht wheel, cast iron mermaids, fishing net floats and other “Unique Things from the Seven Seas”.
The next time you are sipping on an eggnog and rum drink in Eastport, be sure to sit next to the warm glow of the most nautical Christmas Tree in the world!
