Lights, Pair, U.S. Coast Guard Bridge Light (Pair), New, circa 1960s

Regular price $11,500.00

This is an unheard of set of brand new, never issued, CG Navigation lights that mark the port and starboard side of the navigation ways under bridges, The original crating material is still attached to both lights. These large beauties stand over two feet tall by 9" in diameter. The inside contains the original light mechanism that rotated a new bulb in place automatically when one of them burned out.  There are a total of four original bulbs in each light. These Port and Starboard lights were made by Lovell Co. and the Fresnel glass is in pristine condition. The original pig tail is attached and they are ready to be operational very easily,

The unit is clearly marked with "This lamp changer is equipped with a diode to protect the lamp. It does not require a capacitor. Always use the correct shunt. Do not reverse polarity." on the internals.

Also noted is "8-6-68. 6 RPM, 24 FPM. Length of flash is 0.5 FU840 flasher type. Ser # WP-61146."

A rare chance to own original equipment from over 60 years ago. we will custom crate the lights and ship via FEDEX as part of the shipping costs.
