Commemorative Plate - Admiral Nimitz

This commemorative plate is part of the Allied Nations Commemorative Series. It is in excellent condition and a great gift to anyone who loves naval history. 

It features a hand drawn portrait of Admiral Nimitz. Admiral Nimitz (24 February 1885 – 20 February 1966) Commander in Cheif of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, and Commander in Chief of the Pacific Ocean Areas, commanding Allied air, land, and sea forces during World War II.  The Nimitz class supercarriers are named in his honor.
