This model displays exquisite lines and attention to detail of a famous Chesapeake Bay iconic waterman's work boat. Details include, pusher boat, engine gauges, sail tell tales, and the many more obscure representations are included in this stunning model. Built by well know Bay area model maker Paul Slacum, this piece was commissioned for display in a world class architect's home in the Annapolis area. Prior to his death at the age of 80 in 1998, Slacum built the best representations of the waterman's era boats of the 19th and 20th centuries. His work is on display at the Richardson Maritime Museum in Cambridge, MD in the wing dedicated to his name. This model is contained in a custom built glass and mahogany case with overall dimensions of 33" long X 30" high X 15.5" deep.
