US Navy Cast Iron Bell, Mounted on Hardwood

US Navy cast iron bell, WWII era, mounted on hardwood, with hand-tied bell pull. Very rare bell, complete with mounting frame. Measures approximately 18" tall (total height with stand) by 17" wide (at widest point of stand). The bell itself is approximately 9.5" in diameter.

Retains its original bell clapper and heavy mounting stand. Impressive loud bell ring. This Navy bell is well preserved and would make a nice addition to a military maritime collection.
