Navigation Light, 200mm, U.S. Light House Service, New Old Stock, Original

We found this light in the back of an old boat parts place i n Southern Maryland that was going out of bussiness. This 200mm heavy brass buoy light dates back to when the U.S. Light House Service was still in operation. These were from pre-1939 and were most often attached to buoys and Day Markers, but also were used as land-based signal lanterns. This lantern has been configured to run on standard house electricity and has an vintage effect LED bulb inside. When lit, it is truly a stunning piece of home decor.
