USS Maine BB-10 portrayed in Color type print and copyrighted by H.A. Wheeler (Brig. General, Illinois. N.G.) in the year 1898. The Ship steams along staining the clouds in its passing. Guns at ready, flags flying, the frothy seas, gulls, and sail ships only serve to enhance this ship's powerful presence. One of the most ornate wood frames we have seen estimated fro the period of the early 1900's. Measures 24-1/2" wide x 18" tall.
