The Elgin National Watch Company, commonly known as Elgin Watch Company was a major US watch maker 1864-21968. The company sold watches under the names Elgin, Lord Elgin and Lady Elgin.
Housed in a three-tiered mahogany inner box with brass gimbals, 2.25-inch signed enamel dial with subsidiaries for running seconds and state of wind, the nickel plated signed and numbered lever movement with 21 jewels and adjusted for 5 positions 13cm (5in) wide.
