This is a rare oyster bucket used by the Chesapeake Bay Black Swan Brand, and packed by Leatherbury Bros. in Shady Side, MD. This bucket was for dipping and measuring exactly a gallon to fill the oyster cans during the collection and shucking process. It has been cleaned but we maintained the integrity of the old wear and tear of the original.
