Antique French Naval Cutlass, measuring 30", model 1803 dated May of 1816 engraved on the spine of the blade, with scabbard. Remnants of large engraved anchor can be seen on the blade, as well as makers marks as shown. This particular sword was presented as a gift after a completing a tour of officer exchange with the French in the 1950s.
