This is a handcrafted wooden model of an early Age-of-Sail vessel, inspired by the caravel / small carrack ships of the late 15th and early 16th centuries. These were the types of vessels used during the Age of Exploration, combining square sails with fore-and-aft rigging for long ocean voyages.
The model features a warm stained wooden hull, hand-sewn cloth sails, traditional rigging, and is mounted on a matching wooden display cradle. It is a decorative display model, ideal for nautical décor rather than a strict museum-scale replica.
