Vintage Brass or Bronze Binoculars

Vintage brass or bronze binoculars,  late 19th century to early 20th century.

Key features:

• Compact size typical of naval deck binoculars or field/shipboard use.

• Brass construction with visible patina, including some verdigris (green oxidation), common for well-aged maritime brass.

• Simple objective lenses and eyepieces, probably fixed focus or early central focus design.

These would have been used for close-range spotting aboard ships, or could even be a naval officer’s private binoculars.
