Authentic World War II 37 mm M16A2 artillery shell, consisting of a brass casing (1943) made by the Cartridge Case Company (U.S.) and a steel projectile dated October 2, 1942.
This round type was used in U.S. 37 mm M4/M9 aircraft cannons and M3 anti-tank guns, serving across Europe and the Pacific. The projectile features twin copper driving bands and polished finish, seated in a demilitarized (inert) case.
