Antique - Mercury charged Barometer - Thermometer. Very ornate in its construction. This item features scale designations in Fahrenheit and Celsius as well as Metric altitude. Scripted in English and Latin with areas of engraving and nautical themed etchings. A fine display piece for the avid collector. Unrestored Wood and Brass construction, cleaned to reveal integrity, but not to remove the effects of time. Supports mercury charged glass display tubes for both barometric and temperature reference. Measures 40-1/2" high to tip of hanger, 4/1/2" at widest point. A true survivor.
