Fully restored by our own artisans. Chromed brass ships compass. Made for the U.S Navy by Lionell Corp. 1942. Very smooth, well floating compass, encased in an 8-window conical chrome frame and mounted in a round chrome base. Excellent glass. Features a chrome window cover with peep sight, and chrome disc lid with brass knob. Some chrome wear evident at bottom of base ring as well as some minor areas of pitting. Common dings and dents for the use this type of item received, but overall, very good condition. 13" diameter base x 16" tall.
