This may actually be Ship Art created while on a long voyage. Similar to Hobo or Folk Art the craftsman used materials available per their location. This Sailing vessel replica stands out as a half hull against its rugged blue background. Crafted from used materials and possibly as a way to occupy time, this two masted sailing ship is now ready for a new home. Red and black hull with bone colored carved wooden sails. Encased in a gold painted 23-1/4" x 16-1/4" frame. Stands approx. 3" away from mounting surface. Original wire hanger attached.
