Large antique wooden deadeye, measuring 8” × 9”, hewn from dense hardwood. This three-hole deadeye features deep, sharply cut grooves around the perimeter for lanyard and shroud rigging, with substantial depth to the line channels. Its weathered, lightened surface shows age and maritime use, lending it authentic nautical character. Deadeyes of this size were typically found on larger vessels where heavy rigging required strong, oversized fittings.
