Here we have a collectable Ship in a Bottle kit depicting the historic American vessel Providence, produced by Woodkrafter Kits (a division of Downeast Concepts, Inc., Yarmouth, Maine).

Dated ©1984 and factory sealed, this kit allows the builder to recreate a fully rigged sailing ship inside a glass bottle using traditional ship-in-a-bottle techniques. The Providence was a notable American Revolutionary War privateer, commanded early on by John Paul Jones, making this kit especially desirable to maritime and U.S. naval history collectors.
