Offered here is a rare set of U.S. Navy & International Code Flag Flash Deck Cards, issued by the Naval Aviation Training Division during World War II. Marked Device No. 5-ILL – RESTRICTED, these flash cards were used to train naval aviators and sailors in the recognition and memorization of international signal flags, which were vital for ship-to-ship communication during the war era.
